The odour and uses of Ultralia:

Flowery, Orris, Violet powdery woody, very typical of the Iris family with a strong Orris root character. The most floral and rich of all qualities of methyl ionone with a strong orris, violet character and only a slight fruity nuance.
Uses=> A rich complex character combined with a great substantivity on cloth with good stability in many difficult media. Indispensable element in all high quality fine fragrances, flowery, woody, powdery, Chypre, Oriental, etc. imparting them with radiance and great elegance.
