The odour and uses of Musk Concentrate 10% in TEC
Using Androsterone 1000 ppm Concentrate
We recommended to using Androsterone 1000 ppm in fragrance compounds at a maximum of 0.01 to 0.1% (w/w) 0.1 to 1 gram per Kg or Litre of perfume compound. This will ensure that the active Androsterone content does not exceed 1 ppm 1 part-per-million which has been found to be the upper limit at which the pheromones are esthetically acceptable in odour.
The materials used are high purity reconstructions using synthetic sources and no human or animal extracts were used in their production.
Androsterone is found in the human axilla and skin as well as in urine. It may also be secreted by human sebaceous glands. Androsterone has been shown to naturally occur in pine pollen and is well known in many animal species. Androsterone has been found to affect human behavior when smelled.

Important Notes:
End application data applies to experiments carried out by the authors or extrapolated from those experiments using computer algorithms. As application product formulations vary widely this information is only a general guide.
Full testing by both perfumers- flavorists and end users is the only proven method to ensuring a perfume or flavours safety- strength- suitability- stability and success.
Legislation and regulations vary widely and change with time so it is your duty to check this.
