Odour=> spicy carnation sweet vanilla : Spicy, Carnation, Sweet, Vanilla Use: Methyl Diantilis, a Givaudan captive for several years, is an elegant, spicy/sweet ingredient with a similar olfactive note to Isoeugenol, but with an additional powdery aspect reminiscent of carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus).
