The Perfumer's Studio

Situated in PerfumersWorld's offices in the north part of Bangkok near, but out of earshot of, the domestic airport Don Mueang. Studio participants have their own workbench and set of 160 essential materials (the Students Raw Material Kit) and access to over 600 more aroma chemicals, essential oils, absolutes, resinoids and key bases.

Staff will be on hand to direct you and there is a program already laid out that you can follow. Instructors will not be breathing down your neck and trying to get you to keep up or wait for everybody else. But, if you just want to do your own thing and develop your skills in your own way and in your own time frame then this is an ideal solution. "The Perfumer's Studio" is the perfect place to work on and develop your own products. Thai staff will be around to help you with simple requests but for technical stuff there will be instructors available depending on their schedule. If there are no instructors available on site, they may be travelling to workshops abroad, so then there will be a daily Skype conference set up so you can get your questions answered promptly.

The initial samples you make will be by counting drops and you can make up an unlimted number. However, when you get close to your target you should make up weighed samples ready to go into production. Our staff can do this for you for the just the cost of the materials or they will let you do it under supervision until you are adept.

No one can sit at the workbench all day so there is a lounge exclusively for the studio to chill out or research. With WiFi and computer access with a library of over 100 classic perfumery works, use of the Professional Version of The Perfumer's Workbook on Mac or Microsoft. With computer benches for research and sofas to sit and drink your favorite beverage or a TV to watch perfumery videos or Skype conference.

Easy access - no previous experience or qualifications required but you can save money if you have completed a workshop with us.

The cost of a 5 day week Monday thro' Friday 9.30am - 17.30pm is US$960/week for the first 2 weeks (see below to see how to get it cheaper).

How can you get it cheaper?

After 2 weeks of paying the full rate it will go down to US$720/week then after 4 weeks to US$480/week.

If you have completed a Foundation Level Workshop in The Art & Technology of Perfumery then you will need less supervision and initial instruction so you can get a 25% discount for the first 4 weeks so thats just US$720/week for the first 4 weeks followed by $480/week thereafter.

If you have completed a Professional Level Workshop in The Art and Technology of Perfumery then you can get it for a 50% discount that's just $480/week right from the very first week.

Guests - if you would like to try it for 1 day before committing yourself to a whole week then a single day teaser is available for $100/1 day only. This is subject to availability.

NOTE - Places at "The Perfumer's Studio" are limited so please be sure to book in advance: The number of students at any one time is limited to just 3 short term participants (1 to 4 weeks) and 7 long term participants (over 4 weeks).
